Sharon Fitzgerald has practiced law since 1979. She began her career at
the Wyoming Supreme Court where she performed legal research for two former
justices, Justice A.G. McClintock and Justice C. Stuart Brown. Today she
spends much of her time prosecuting cases for patients who have been injured by
their doctors or hospitals. She is one of only seven "AV" rated women
lawyers in the State of Wyoming. This is a Martindale-Hubbell law
Directory Rating of Legal ability and a General recommendation. "A" is
from very high to preeminent and "V" is likewise very high. In addition to
serving on the Advisory Committee for the United States Court of Appeals for the
Tenth Circuit (the federal appeals court for Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico,
Utah, Kansas and Oklahoma), she is also a member of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers
and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership in this group is
limited to "Trial lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience
and excellence in advocacy by achieving a trial verdict, award or settlement in
the amount of one million dollars or more."
