The Fitzgerald Law Firm is an award-winning personal injury law firm located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Our offices are physically located in two historic buildings on Warren Avenue near the Wyoming State Capital, the Supreme Court, the Federal Trial Courts and the State Trial Court.

Jim and Sharon Fitzgerald purchased the historic C.J. Ohnhaus House at 2108 Warren Avenue in 1986. The renovations included creating offices for our lawyers, conference rooms, and a break room. They later purchased the A.J. Parshall House at 2102 Warren Avenue in 2015, these buildings have numerous offices and conference rooms.

Think back to the popular movie, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Butch and Sundance keep asking each other, “Who are those guys?

“Those guys” were a group of U.S. Marshals, led by Joe LeFors, the U.S. Marshal from Wyoming, who tracked Butch and Sundance throughout the west.

Joe LeFors served with the United States District Clerk of the Court and Court Reporter, C.J. Ohnhaus. As he aged and prospered, C.J. Ohnhaus became a prominent and affluent citizen of Cheyenne. In 1910, he built the historic C.J. Ohnhaus House and Carriage House near the State Capitol.

Jim and Sharon Fitzgerald converted the historic home into a law office. Today, the building retains much of its old-fashioned charm as the U.S. Department of Interior, and National Park Service approved the renovations.
